About Beth Barratt-Browne

I'm Beth Barratt-Browne, a seasoned HR and Business executive and the Founding Principal of Better HRx —a fractional HR consultancy built to bring experienced, executive-level people leadership to growing businesses without the full-time overhead.

With over 20 years of experience leading People & Culture functions across government, commercial, and not-for-profit sectors, I know what it takes to build organisations that perform — they’re built on the strength of their people.

Throughout my career, I’ve helped CEOs, founders and boards solve complex people challenges: from leadership transitions and workforce restructuring to embedding performance cultures, strengthening compliance, and creating environments where people can thrive.

Whether it's coaching executive teams, leading organisational change, or designing talent strategies that support scale, I bring a calm, commercial, and collaborative approach.

I’ve held senior roles including Chief Workforce Officer, GM People, and Commercial Director, and currently serve as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the People & Culture Committee at a leading NDIS service provider. My credentials include an MBA (AGSM), AICD Company Directors Course.

Through Better HRx, I offer project-based and retained fractional Chief HR (People) Officer support to purpose-led businesses. My work is grounded in strategic clarity, operational know-how, and a deep belief that better business outcomes come from better people decisions.
